Classes

We train at the Kennel Club Building, Stoneleigh Park on Monday nights. We currently run four classes:

Introduction to Rally We run regular introductory classes throughout the year. Our Introduction to Rally course is a eight week course and is limited to a maximum of 6 per intake so early sign-up is recommended. The course introduces all of the Level 1 and 2 exercises and provides an introduction to clicker training. Owing to the limited number of spaces on our Introductory courses payment is required in advance and is not refundable.

All our regular classes run on a 6 week cycle and pre-payment savings are available, pre-paid sessions are not refundable but are transferable with prior agreement.

Moving on - Level 1 and 2 Our moving on classes build on the foundations of the Introductory course expanding the knowledge of the Level 1 exercise set and looking to improve each team's performance to prepare those who wish to go on to compete. As the classes are geared towards individual improvement they are equally relevant whether you wish to use Rally to improve the bond with your dog or are looking forward to your first competition.

Improvers - Level 3 and 4 Our improvers class seeks to prepare handlers to compete off lead in Levels 3 and 4 and covers the additional Level 3 and 4 exercises and how these would be used in a competitive environment. The emphasis remains on individual improvement.

Advanced - Level 5 and 6 Our advanced class seeks to perfect and hone handler's experience as they are introduced to the Level 5 and 6 exercises. There is a large individual element in classes as each handler is coached to help avoid deductions and achieve their potential.

As well as providing training in the performance of the sport we encourage handlers to get involved with the competition management side of the sport as scorers, scribes and judges. RallyOnline Nights Rally Online is an unaffiliated online Rally competition series which aims to mirror KC Competitions as closely as possible providing valuable competitive experience and feedback for those preparing for competition. We aim to provide filming opportunities for some of the competitions alongside our normal classes.
