Build your foundation skills
We believe that limited space shouldn’t be an obstacle to training. We hope that these challenges will encourage people work with their dogs while focusing on the foundation skills that we all too often neglect. These skills will help all handlers and their dogs whether they are starting out on their training journey or are already enjoying high-level success at their chosen activity.
Work at your own pace
The challenges are not competitive, everyone is capable of earning an award. You can approach them at your own pace, unlike a show there is no opening or closing date.
Each Challenge Board as 35 squares with an activity in each. There is an example video and explanation for each one.
Video assessment
When you are happy with your progress film a short clip for each activity. Videos can be edited together but must clearly state which activity is being claimed.

Our first Challenge Board, conceived during Lock Down, is living room friendly, making it ideal for rainy days.
On The Move
Our second Challenge Board concentrates on moving skills and is designed for larger spaces, you will need a minimum of 4m by 4m.

Submit for Assessment
When you are happy with your videos you can submit them for assessment. Successful submissions will receive a certificate and Challenge Award ribbon.
Purple Awards – £12
For this award you will need to submit any five activities from the Challenge list, the choice is yours. All your squares may be filmed in the same place.
Green Awards – £15
For this award you will need to submit a further 10 activities from the Challenge list, again the choice is yours.
You must film at least one square in a new location (i.e. in a different part of your house/garden or at your local park).
Rainbow Awards – £20
For this award you will need to complete the remaining 20 activities from the Challenge list.
